FAQ

Frequently asked questions about DC-In.

What are the membership criteria?

Members must be involved in clinical care, research, academics, and/or administration in a medical healthcare system or facility, through a formal arrangement as an employee, contractor, or partner. Other forms of integration through chiropractic private practices (renting space in a medical building, hiring a part-time MD, belonging to a group with CIH providers, etc) or other provisions would not qualify.

What is the cost of membership?

DC-In is not an entrepreneurial venture; there are no dues or costs of membership. Additionally, DC-In will not use or disclose member identifiable information for any purposes, commercial or otherwise.

Why not include DCs who are interested in integrated settings but not currently working in such a setting?

We understand and support such DCs; indeed we were all in their place at one time. However including all interested DCs would likely be counterproductive at this time. DC-In’s membership is limited to DCs currently working in medical settings, but we envision that our efforts will ultimately help other DCs become placed in medical settings.

Why US only?

In time we certainly would want to collaborate with appropriate colleagues in other nations as well. However for the initial pilot, limiting to US DCs enables us to test and refine our processes as we build an introductory member base. If all goes well we would look forward to welcoming international members in the future.
